No one sits around the table anymore. Our lives are so fast-paced, when in a social gathering we are normally standing up to socialize as opposed to sitting around a table enjoying one another. I wanted to create a home base for my kids and their friends to eat and conversate without phones. A place for our friends to come for dinner and holidays and sit around enjoying one another. This room has so much depth and warmth, it feels like a big hug when you’re in it.
In a bar area, I wanted a space I could bite into. I love this room so much, I would eat it if I could. A mixture of feminine (glitter wallpaper and mirrors, oh my!) and masculine (geometric patterns and brass fixtures) makes this butler’s pantry feel like a bistro in a really trendy eatery.
